Recorded on my digital camera. I've put them on my computer. How do I view them on my computer?

What he said, except for the life of god please don't install Quicktime, Real Alternative is much better.

I think VLC (videolan) player should be able to playback MOV files.

Correct. VLC, IMO by far, is the best when it comes to resiliency and file playback ability. Go for VLC:
