So I want to make a short comedy sketch (maybe). Something that you could put up on youtube.

It would need to look fairly professional though. I'd be handling the editing myself.

What sort of equipment should one use nowadays for this kind of task ?

Has anyone done something similar to this ? (non-home movie kinda thing)

How can I get my hands on the equipment ?

I'm looking to do the same thing.

The whole lonelygirl15 thing was shot on a very cheap webcam with natural lighting, a very low-rent affair that looked pretty good.

So far I've been shooting on my digital camera, a $350 Sony affair with video capability. It looks great, certainly good enough for YouTube.
