Anybody seen this movie? I watched it the other night and I wasn't happy with it. I wasn't really expecting much of it to begin with, but it wasn't scary at all, and to be quite honest, I don't really get it. My biggest thing was, why at the end, is she still in a different world from her husband?? How did she get there in the first place? Can someone please tell me.

Silent Hill is really purgatory and it sits on the outskirts of Hell. The "survivors" are not really survivors because they are already dead. Rose and Sharon died in the the car accident that sent them to Silent Hill. Rose and Sharon escape the depths of Hell but can not escape Silent Hill because they are dead.

Why didn't they just say that?

Makes sense now, but they need a better car if they died from that.

I liked the games, but heard the movie sucks.

BTW, anybody play SH4? I got stuck on the prison level 2 years ago and haven't played it since. I'm obstinate like that.

Best video game cum movie is by far the resident evil series.

They are playing it at CoEx.. but I couldn't get a sense of it.

Its a horror movie.. a slash-em-up.. or is it more a twilight zone type movie?

Silent Hill is an average movie...it's not bad if you like that kind of thing. If you look at imdb.com , by far the best site on the Internet for checking out about movies, it's rated not far below a 7, which is fairly average.

I found it pretty average... but didn't it come out 5 months ago? Why the recent hype?
