Is it possible to get a bank draft, bank check, money order or traveller's checks in US dollars on a Saturday in Wonju. -Jeff |

I could be mistaken but I was under the impression that back in '03, ALL banks had to switch to the 5 day week and are henceforth CLOSED on Saturdays.
If you work in a public school, simply tell your co-teacher that you need personal time to take care of some stuff at the bank and ask them to sign you out at the vice principals office. It is allowed.
If you work in a Hakwon, get your director to help you during some NON-class time during a work day. |

Unfortunately, Wonju is a long bus ride away from where I live. I would have to take an entire day off and pay for a bus ticket. I was hoping I could take care of the issue while I was in Wonju for the weekend. I suppose I will have to pay out the nose for a wire transfer. -Jeff |
