I got my new core 2 duo @ 2.4ghz today. F.E.A.R. completely maxed out is now back to normal at:
min. FPS = 48
Avg. FPS = 91
Max. FPS = 225
Now I feel better. I am sending the faulty core 2 duo to intel. They will replace it with a new one, so, I'LL HAVE A SPARE CORE 2 DUO E6600 @ 2.4GHZ. If anyone wants it (when it comes back, make me an offer).
Also, there is a guy I know that is getting rid of 2 BFG OC (by the manufacturer) 7900 GTX's @ 512 GDDR3. For both, he is asking $620. If someone wants to go in with me (i am thinking SLI), I may be interested in this purchase (7900GTX only $310 used for a few months). |
