I've noticed since I have been here, I have been downloading concerts and kinda rocking out rather hard with the head phones. Is it because there is a lack of quality live music hear? I downloaded Pearl Jam live at PinkPop and during a seriously awesome solo I lost my head phones due to some quality head banging. Normally I would reserve this stuff for the real thing but is being abroad forcing me to settle for lesser rocking?

The answer, by definition and by default, is no, you're not rocking hard enough...

Is Pearl Jam really a group that invokes "headbanging"?

I think you just have crap headphones.

That's funny. I think i was at that show. Was it in 2000?
We were going to watch them, but eddie said that we should go check out "Gomez" in the tent beside them. We did.

Your thinking of the more current stylle of the band, this concert was back before they even put out their second album. The defiently rocked hard enough then for a little hand bang.

i'm a little worried of facing the same situation when i head out. the music i enjoy is rather...niche even here and so i'm not holding out many hopes of finding many goregrind bands over in seoul. maybe i'll be reduced to being the convulsing foreigner on the subway too.

I was doing at home and I couldn't even be a convulsing foreigner on the subway as we I live in the sticks of Jinhae. I suppose I could do it on the bus but I'd need to go somewhere on it first....
