Don't you hate how for 75% of the year there are no foreign movies, or one if you are lucky,
and then boom, the theater is full of them. Right now, my theater is showing 1. A Good Year 2. Prestige 3. The Guardian 4. Silent Hill 5. Devil wears Prada.
Just seems like another case of Koreans not having an planning skills.  |

Or it might have to do with the availability of Korean movies at the time..
Korea does not produce as many films as Hollywood. And yet, the theatres need to have a film for each screen at all times. |

Part of it is a very strcit movie quota syatem. Recently the gov't rolled them back/reduced them but the Korean theatres pledged to keep them in place voluntarily to support the local industry. |
