does anyone have any information about obtaining a TEFL certificate online? i have seen the ads and done some research, but i am leery that it will be a waste of money in the long run, especially if it is not recognized anywhere...
i figured it would be a good use of my time while i'm still here.
is it legit?
and if so, does anyone have any suggestions of which school to use?

| Don't pay more that 400 US, and it's virtually useless professionally as a certificate, except in Korea, and that's only if you sort of lie about it (not really lie, but don't reveal some things). They are still good for personal or professional upgrading, or just plain confidence if you are starting out. |
