I'm looking for a place with a large selection of textbooks. There's not much out here in the sticks. Anything in Seoul or Suwon would do the trick.
Can anyone help me out with a name and a location? |

English+, it's halfway between Kyobobooks and Bandi & Luni's in Chongno, Youngpoong is across the street from Bandi & Luni's.
If you hit all four of those stores you'll find everything you need.
Kyobo is at Kwanghwamun station - look for the exit marked kyobo. when you are done there, go out the back exit, next to the softward and discounted DVDs in the southeast corner of the store. Walk East along the main drag and you'll see English+ on the left. Keep going and at the next stairs underground you'll be able to go to youngpoong and bandi & luni's |

Since you're in/near Yongin, I recommend going to Seoul.
From Yongin, grab the 5002 or 5001 to Gangnam. When the bus drops you off, turn right and walk until you get to Kyobo Tower on your left. Kyobo Books is in the basement, and they've got a decent selection of English literature, non-fiction, children's books and ESL/EFL material.
Or, if you prefer, take the Express Bus from Yongin terminal, which drops you off at "Express Bus Terminal" station in Seoul. Follow the signs to "Central City" which is a nearby mall attached to the subway station. There's a bookstore unfortunately named "Youngpoon Books" in the basement of that mall. The English section is up the stairs.

OK, OK, my apologies. Try to understand though that all of those names you mentioned are just random strings of characters unless I have some idea of where they are. Words like "in Seoul" and maybe a subway line color, ect. give me a clearer picture.
I'm just a poor country mouse looking for a bookstore is all.
Thanks kermo. |

Your message was utterly unclear. You didn't mention a city, nor did you mention which of many Korean names you were throwing around were subway stations or bookstores or head-shops. You didn't tell him the subway station: you threw out a Korean name followed by the word "station." Bus station? Train station? Subway station? Seoul? Incheon? Moscow? |

My personal favorite for ESL books is Kim and Johnson. The one I go to is in Gangnam and will have a huge selection of books for teaching kids and adults. They also have a great selection of kids books. I get a 10% discount also when I joined as a member. It's been awhile, so I can't remember if I had to pay anything.
To get there, go to Gangnam station in Seoul. (That's on the green line, one stop east of where the orange and green connect) Go out exit 5 and look for Marche restaurant. Kim and Johnson's are in the same building on the 3rd floor. |
