Hi

not sure if I spelled the city name correctly but hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about.

I am planning to come back to Korea in the future and want to work in this city. I will have a masters in TESOL plus 3 years of teaching experience in the states, Canada, China and Korea.

Can anyone recommend a good place to apply in Chun cheon'? I don't really want to work in a hogwan or public school.

Three years of teaching experience in four countries? Having a problem with holding down a job?-- I'm in Chuncheon (one word) now. Here's the deal: Kangwon National University, in its questionable wisdom, has decided to enforce the three-year rule with a vengeance. As a result, the entire foreign faculty (seven) will be kicked off the island at the end of the current contract. Personally, I don't really care if they have to fill the positions with people with a B.A. in beekeeping (I'll be basking on a beach in Thailand by then), but you seem to have the credentials for this gig. Please DON'T PM me about this; the last time I mentioned it, my mailbox was clogged. Do the legwork yourself. The positions haven't been advertised yet (well, I guess they have been now), so you can get out in front of this by simply coming up here and submitting your resume. All luck to you.

I can't exactly "come up" and submit anything. I'm teaching in California now. But I'll check into that university...
