Hyewha, more like Hey, not quite.

Hopefully that's just a misconception that can easily be rectified. First I'd like to preface this with this seemingly call of desperation is 8 months in the making. It has had time to simmer and churn so it's not like I haven't tried. Besides it's not that I wanted to post the equivalent of a classified on here, trust me.

So who in/near Hyewha wants to hang out? I'm looking for the type that wants to go up to the park, drink some tall boys and talk about bad acid trips of yesteryear. Maybe play some strategic board games like Puerto Rico or Heroes Quest while swearing freely. Sing back up vocals on Pantera's This Love. Break into the buildings in Hongdae to check out the view. Hell, even drunkenly, unabashedly pound out horrible melodrome/guitar duets. Those kind of things.

I've had enough of meeting people who are hardcore religious, naemsung, or teetotalers so those need not apply (my boss says I must have met all the religious people in Korea). I'm looking for those that share my brand of debauchery, full of uncertainty and alcohol.

Just for clarification this isn't a "hey ladies" thread. No problem there, just some people that I can communicate in English to.

I have enough liquor in my room for a small bar, in case that's enticing.

Come to Bundang, aka The Promised Land.

Just no B&E, OK?

Are you talking 'bout HeroQuest? I'd show up to see that in action once again. Even if you're not referring to that particular game, let's see an image nonetheless.

Heh... I'm not sure you're going to entice many guys with that kind of thread title.

That's the one. Unfortunately I haven't found a board game cafe that has it and the person that was going to bring it decided to become a financial advisor instead. But there is a cafe in Gangnam that has Puerto Rico.

Heyhwa kicks ass. I wish I lived there instead of boring Deungchondong.

Right on! Sounds ideal! From the bad-trip nostalgia to the Hero Quest to the beer to the Pantera, that sounds exactly like my idea of a fun night.

I love 4 hours away though, way down in Jeonju Sad

I'd be keen to head up for a weekend sometime though.

That's right near where I used to live. There's some to do in Cheonho. The nightclubs actually serve foreigners and the two western bars aren't horrible. Here the only bar that single people go to, that I've found, costs 7500 per rum and coke. Not to mention walking around the red light district drunk is a good for a lark. Especially when you run into the Koreans who will do anything to make sure you get laid only to find out that the prostitutes don't service foreigners.
