HOJSWHK (How O.J. Simpson Would Have Killed)

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061115/ap_on_en_tv/simpson_interview

"O.J. Simpson, in his own words, tells for the first time how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible for the crimes,"

The interview will air days before Simpson's new book, "If I Did It," goes on sale Nov. 30.

Amazing. The guy doesn't go to jail, but instead will make money from his murder. People will buy the book, but he has to be one of the more hated people in America.

Hopefully, all the money will go to the ~30 million he owes the victims families.

The only ethical response is for people to refuse to buy it.

Doesn't sound like it. He's been keeping all of his income for the last 10 years.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2089-2415493,00.html

Quote:

The book is reported to have the working title If I Did It. Details were published by the National Enquirer newspaper last week on the same day that Goldmans father, Fred, launched a new court attempt to seize some of Simpsons assets in part repayment of a $33.5m judgment against him after he lost a 1997 civil court case.

The former American-football star has never paid a cent of the judgment, despite the civil courts finding that he was responsible for Brown and Goldmans deaths.

...

Lawyers for Goldman are trying to confirm the book contract, but Polak said Simpson had a long history of hiding his income and pretending to be broke. After the murders he moved to Florida to take advantage of state laws that protect primary homes and pensions from seizure in a civil lawsuit. He owns a $650,000 home in Miami and has a large pension as an ex-National Football League player.

Unable to touch those assets, Goldman and his lawyers last week made a novel attempt to seize Simpsons rights to his name and image. A California judge indicated she would dismiss the claim on technical grounds, but the case is likely to be appealed. Goldman claims the initial judgment has since climbed to $38m with interest.

I wouldn't hold my breathe. The release of the book comes just as Godlman's father lost a case that would have forced OJ to begin paying his debt to his family.
