I'm very intrigued by this guy. He has all the hallmarks of a rock star doomed to die and be a legend.
One thing is for sure.....He really, really understands music. He's good. Very good.
He reminds me of Jim Morrison so much.
If you're interested then download anything by The Libertines or his recent band, Babyshambles.
Or download a documentary by Arena.
Just to emphasise a point....this is a very interesting guy. |

He's either got white face-paint on, or he's the most pale looking dude I've ever seen. Man, the guy makes Keith Richards look healthy... |

I like Pete Docherty because he is the only decent artist ever to play at the seaside town they forgot to bomb where im from in the UK.
docherty is an amazing lyricist and can write a catchy tune. I think he did his best stuff with Carl Barat in the libertines though...they go together like a slightly less talented version of John and Paul.
Docherty is clearly mentally ill, its really horrible to see what the tabloids are doing to him in the UK... the one unfortunate thing about falling in love with kate moss.
Last year he was on the jonothan ross show. ross tried to talk to him honestly and sensitively to him about his habit, it was horrible to hear the studio audience laugh like it was a joke somehow.

The Libertines are/were ace! Can't stand me now is one of my all time fave karaoke songs, although I'm yet to find it in a Korean norebang... What Katie Did is also a great tune, which he wrote before hooking up with Kate Moss. The scummy English tabloid press need to get off his back IMO. |

If Pete Doherty winds up dead of an overdose one of these days I would not care.
His choice to get mixed up in all of that and keep doing it. |
