Lately, I've been getting low memory alerts on my laptop (at home) as well as messages about problems with the Google toolbar. So last night I removed some programs to free up some memory.
Now I can't connect to the Internet, (I'm sending this message from work) and the Word files on my desktop look different (there's a page with a corner flipped over on the right-hand side and it also has a box in the middle with 3 icons in it). What disturbs me most is that I can't even do a System Restore because when I click on that icon (Under accesssories, system tools etc.) all that comes up is an empty box with the system restore title on it.
Would appreciate any advice on what I could try or a recommendation about where I could take my laptop. (I'm in Incheon but I know I may have to make a trek to somewhere elese.)
To make matters worse, I don't have the original disc that came with the computer--if it comes to that.
Thanks.... |

IMO, I think you had a lot more wrong with your laptop than you had previously thought. My recommendation would be to buy an OS and completely revamp the PC. |
