Anybody know where I can buy some Southern Comfort? I usually get some through duty-free when I enter the country, but I'm running out.

I'm looking for a bottle, not a bar to have a drink in.

Tried the underground (black market) import section at Namdaemun Market? They might have some amongst all the other liquor. Never looked for it myself, though.

namdaemun has it. don't remember where. there are guys selling all kinds of yangju there though. or you could just go to a bar that serves it and ask where they bought it.

Namdaemun, go through gate 1. Look for the small door with a Smile on it. Then go sown the stairs. down stairs you wil see no less then 10 guys selling it and other imported alcohol (like my fav. Bombay gin). With so many people, you can feel free to bargain and haggle. Enjoy.

You can get it in Shinchon at the little underground market. (I guess it's not really a market, but...) It's just across the street from Hyundai Departmentstore.

How does one drink Southern Comfort? Is it like a whiskey?

On the rocks?

In the UK, a 'Steamboat' is popular (Southern Comfort, lemonade and a drop of lime).

Southern Comfort will get you messed up pretty fast. Drank so much once that I swore i'd never touch the stuff again. Use with caution!

Never tried it personally but I've seen it around. It's even in Jinju and on Geoje.

If you have ever been to Songtan (Osan AFB) you will probably know where the black market area is...there are always several stalls that carry it. I don't have the map anymore...but if you do a search i know I appended the map to the BM on one thread a few years? back.

!Shoosh,

Ryst
