I'm just curious what people's plans are for christmas while they are away for the upcoming holidays. How celebrated is the Christmas holiday in Korea? I'm planning on coming to Seoul or Busan in mid-december and I'm thinkin' that i need to make some pretty good friends pretty quick if i dont want to wake up on christmas morning by myself with noone to give any gifts to! Sad

ouch, sounds to me like a certain individual who hates falling down stairs may not have anybody to give gifts to... it's alright OKOKOK, we can get together, have a secret santa gift exchange, and drown our sorrows in 'nog...

Don't know about Christmas Day yet, but on Christmas Eve I will be keeping up with the grand old British tradition of getting totally s.h.i.t faced. I always seem to prefer Christmas Eve to Christmas Day for this reason, and see no reason to break from this just cos I'm in Korea. On Christmas Eve I will probably be in Itaewon, wearing tacky Santa apparell (sic?) and puking in the gutter - can't wait.
