Okay, I've spent the past four months in split-shift illegal rip-off hagwon hell land. Almost everyone on Dave's has told me to leave ASAP and wondered how I've put up with it for so long. Some have inquired about my level of intelligence.

I've contemplated staying and bringing the fight to the director via the Labor Board, Health, Tax, Pension, and Immigration office. The problem is that some of my friends here are trying to get through the last few months of their contracts, take their money, and move on. So I don't want to screw them up...but I'm seriously getting tired of this life.

I'm thinking I'll get out, move on, and give up the fight. I want to relocate to Busan and teach for a public school ASAP. I know the next school term starts in March. What's the best route to take to land a PS job in Busan? I know a little bit about CGE and EPIK, but not much.

Any suggestions I would love. I've done a search, but if I missed a useful previous post, please throw me an url.

Several have been posted recently on the classifieds on pusanweb.com. Also try contacting KimnJoe Recruiting. They helped me get my public school gig in Busan. http://www.kimnjoe.com/ Good luck!

hey yesman,
if you really have made your mind up to get out then why dont you use the pension, taxes, and immigration as a bargaining chip to get your LOL and your final months wages, and possibly the visa run money. and you are far too right, life (even in korea) should be an adventure, not a countdown......
