I managed to get my hands on a turkey for thanksgiving, thing is, I got no oven? Anyone got any bright ideas on how to cook the thing?

Fry it. Use a big pot with peanut oil.

After it comes to a boil, it's about 4 minutes for every pound.

And whatever you do, don't use the N-word while cooking. We all hate Michael Richards because of that.

where do I get the peanut oil around here? I haven't seen anything that looks like a turkey fryer....I was planning on insulting Indians actually for the occasion.

It's safer to cook a turkey without stuffing inside the cavity. Prep the stuffing on the side instead.

Well, you could use a crock-pot. Not sure if these are available around here, but you could ask around with your Korean coworkers. Google to find out how long, but it works and it's good.

Saw something that looked like a crock pot at the lotte mart, though it didn't say crock pot on it, it was pretty crock pot esk
