It all finally became too much, so I've handed in my notice. Initially, my mood improved as it felt like a huge load had been lifted from my shoulders. Now, though, I'm simply counting the days. A few months backpacking is just what the doctor ordered. I also need to decide what I want to do with my life over the long term. It might be time to go back to blighty as I'm starting to feel very foreign.

Hey bro...why the title gloomy thread? I imagine that if you hand in your notice and if you hate the job, life is feeling good. Get your a$$ down to Thailand and hit the beach and chill out. As for going home and giving the "real world" a go, well hey, you never know what will happen...Take it one day at a time and enjoy the remaining days on your job seeing as the pressure has been taken off...
happy trails

Thanks for the reminder spliff. I don't even remember my user-name. I guess I'll just create a new one. I know the money is pants, but it'll lighten the burden.

Dude, you have a strong resemblance to Jay Rock of Trailer Park Boys. I'm not saying its a bad thing, but if you know who he is and the role that he plays, I will let you decide.

I really don't know who the trailer park boys are...so I can't really tell if thats a good or bad thing. I live in Daegu too....what parts do you reside in?
