My school has been wanting me to help them find a replacement, so I decided to be nice and offer them advice. Given the huge number of positions on offer to start at the same time as my gig (march) they really need to either up the salary or up the vacation time in the contract (I get more on the sly) in order to attract quality applicants to our area.

School's reaction: oh we'll find a recuriter!

yeah, you really should be getting a lot of money from them for you to do that, considering most recruiters get around 1m (or so i heard) per placement. they even get money for resumes passed around, so i'd tell them you just couldn't find anyone.
