Well ok, not my school, but my cousin's. Only in America would you find a high school parking lot with this kind of scene:

I thought it was in the Constitution, next to that bit about bearing arms...

Is it really necessary to have such a vehicle in what appears to be an urban area?

If they lived out in the sticks and had a long drive to school along pothole filled roads I could understand it.

Those are about the size of the tires on one of the trucks I learned to drive in the army...didn't stop people from cutting me off on the highway (had suddenly stopped, I wouldn't have felt a thing).
