This one was about interactions between Koreans and westerners and historical significance and contributions to Korea by westerners in the late 19C and early 20C. I thought some of you would be interested.

Foreigners can make ID, too. It's all written in English from there. There's no English sub for the vid unfortunately. |

It was an interesting segment. When they got to the part about the murder of Queen Min (명성황후), it looked like the scene from Hanbando, but at least they didn't show the part that took lots of liberties with the historical record. |

What was the subject? That diplomat guy who studied in the US? I forgot his name. Yeah, it was an interesting program.
There is an English sub version out there somewhere as it's one of the programs my company translates for KBS, but it's just a Final Cut document here in the office and it would be kind of weird asking someone for the tape so people I know from some message board can see the English version. |

This one was about the westerners who came to Korea back then as doctors, photographers, missionaries, etc. For example, the Underwood family and Dr. Homer Hulbert who were in a close relationship with the royal family. |
