So, a coteacher today explained to me that Koreans think sniffing glue cleans out your brain and is healthy for you. I tried to explain to her that in America, that is considered drug abuse. Kids can't even buy whiteout, glue, etc without a parent being with them.

I jsut can' believe this is true, but has anyone else heard this from a K before?

It would explain a lot of the things I can't figure out about their thiking patterns!

As for having parents being with kids while buying whiteout what fricken are you from? (Sounds kinda retarted)

I'm from the Southern US. Growing up (started when i went to MS i think), you couldn't buy white out or glue or some markers by youself. When I worked at a PA walmart in 2000, we had to check ID. A lot of OTC cold medicine is now kept behind the counter because of the problems with crystal meth.

That explains everything. They use the exacto razor blade box cutter things, and chop up their glue sticks. Then they sniff them in the squatter. Explains why they don't notice that everything smells bad enough to make a pig puke.

Oh and yeah, they used to write down my drivers license no for the police when i bought some OTC cold medicine back in the states. If that's not a police state, i don't know what is. Shortly after that, I decided to leave America. Hopefuly forever.
