My boss just told me to write my own letter of recommendation (not surprising, he tells everyone that). In addition to the usual - hard-working, on time, gets along well with others, organized, shows initiative, etc. - what kinds of things do Korean employers look for in letters of recommendation? |

I think I would include period of teaching, and make sure that it says it was full time. I'm in EPIK, and they needed a letter like that to raise my pay grade.
If you had perfect attendance, I would definitely include that.
Maybe you could include stuff about being a team player and a nice S-curve.... |

Various things you did.
Any extra stuff? Committees or what not?
State that you are an original teacher. |

Just to clarify, this is a university job but it's not teaching, I'm an RA. I have university teaching experience (3 years) at a different university, I'll ask for the teaching-relevant stuff to be included in that letter of recommendation. Anything else I should include in this one? |
