Hi everyone...I have a simple question ...my Chinese girlfriend - a university teacher in China - would like to live with me in Korea, but to do that she needs a job. I have heard that there are lots of opportunities to teach CSL (Chinese as a Second Language) in Korea, but I don't know where to go to get started. Are there any agencies which deal with CSL? Any websites that could help? So far all I've seen is just is that there IS a demand for Chinese teachers, but no information about applying for jobs. Can anybody help? Even if you know a friend who knows a friend etc. I'll be very grateful...Thanks in anticipation ! By the way, her English proficiency level is very high, so she could teach Chinese and English...

check out 甲天下 or YBM. They only pay about 800000 a month though, and work much harder. There are a lot of hagwons that teach Chinese but they are usually worse than the ones you hear about for English. Does she have a degree. I am 99% sure she needs one. Otherwise, it will be completely illegal.

Yes, the pay is shit for Chinese teachers. And if she is a Chinese citizen she can't legally teach English, unfortunately.

Marry her, then she can get an F3 and be here without having to work in a sweatshop.
