Filo pastry - I've never seen those. Pastry of certain kinds can be bought at Hannam supermarket. |

I don't know where you could buy them, other than seeing if you can convince some local bakeries to sell you some, but I do have a recipe for Puff pastry. It's really labour intensive but doable at this time of the year as it's not too hot for the butter. I've never tried it, but it's from the Joy of Cooking so I'd trust it. Even the snobbiest of cookbooks (including the Joy) recommend against making your own filo (or phyllo) as it is so sensitive, so we won't even go there. Let me know if you can't find any and I'll forward you the recipe. |
