Although I'm sure it's been addressed before, I haven't seen any threads on it. What's the toilet paper like in good ole' SK?

Anything from the cheap n' nasty recycled paper toilet paper to the 3-ply Kleenex and such like.
Must buy in packs of 12-24 rolls though - nothing smaller than that.

Have a housewarming as soon as you move in to your apartment.

You'll end up with a lifetime's supply!

You can buy smaller quantities. When I first got here, I was buying single rolls of institutional grade paper in my locel supermarket. I have gone upscale since, to two ply.

YES YES YES YES!!! Always have your own. At the haggie I worked at, the roll regularily was soaked. The director would just put it up on the window sill to dry out. Totally disgusting.

As Poet said you can buy single rolls of toilet paper.
7 Eleven sell very good individual rolls.

Getting good toilet paper ain't the problem. It's what you do with it when you've finished. Most people are told not to flush it as it blocks the pipes. They then end up collecting it in a can which stinks out the bathroom.

I regularly wrap a goats head in the stuff and flush it. No problems yet!
If those goats' heads get stuck I have a plunger.

People, please flush!

What makes you think it's a euphemism?

trinity, if you're asking if you should bring a roll from home to Korea, I'd say no, save the luggage space. You'll need to go shopping shortly after you arrive anyway. Just pick some up then, or as others have said, stop by a convenience store and pick up a roll if you need it before your first shopping trip. If you're really worried about being stuck without it, take a pocket pack of kleenex with you, but don't waste luggage space on toilet paper.
