|
|
I have gone on the bus to Incheon many times but I never paid attention and now I have to drive to Incheon.
I searched but did not find a decent map online.
Please send me a link for a good map in English and/or if you want to give me directions from Daejeon to Incheon airport that would be great too.
Thanks |

The easiest way is to take the number one highway to Seoul right to the 88 highway.
After the Seoul toll booth keep going straight several km. You'll go through an area with very high noise walls (those plain biege things, but these ones are big). You'll start seeing signs for the Hannam bridge and 88 highway. Just before the Hannam bridge, you'll see a sign for the direction to Gimpo airport, 88 highway. It's a right hand exit that will send you west on the 88. It's really well marked and hard to miss. Take that and keep going west.
You won't see a sign for Incheon airport until past Yeouido (sp?). When you pass the 63 building (tallest building in Korea, gold color on your right) start looking for signs. You've got several km so don't worry if you don't see a sign right away.
Somewhere near the Gimpo Bridge you'll see a turn off for the highway to Incheon. I'm pretty sure it's before the Gimpo bridge but not sure. Not to worry it's well marked here to.
The highway for Incheon airport goes straight there but be warned, it's a 7000-8000 won toll each way on the airport road.
Honestly. Number one to 88 is the most straight forward. It's pretty well marked. |

Find one of the 1000s of airport buses - and drive behind it until you get there. |
