I used to wear extended wear contact lenses but after three years, I couldn't anymore as my eyes got dry. That was back in 1995. Now I'm thinking of giving them another shot, and I got a sample of daily disposables that I will try on tomorrow.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Suggestions?

Contacts are cheap in Korea and you can get them at most eye shops without a written prescription. Different brands have different characteristics, but I use acuvue 1-day lenses for up to a month at a time -- they feel fine even after that much usage.

So the ones you use are the daily disposables or just daily WEAR?

Daily disposables. However, I once had a pair of contacts seven years -- my eyes might not be the best judges of how long these things should be worn. . .

I find lenses here more expensive. But then, I have a strong RX & need toric lenses.

I don't buy 'em here anymore. I use one of the online shops in the US.

To the OP: Some people simply can't use the extended wear lenses as advertised. I take mine out every night, even though you're supposed to be able to wear them for a month.

Same goes for the one-step lense solutions. Most people can get away with taking their lenses out & putting them in solution w/out rubbing. Those of us with sensitive eyes have to clean them more thoroughly.

If you go back to extended wear, try taking them out every night & cleaning them more thoroughly (with a peroxide-based solution if you can find it).
