In a serious nailbiter with a freakin' brilliant ending.

How'd your team do this week (or last... rivalry week seems to have expanded to 2 weeks...)??

I was surprised to see there are still games next week, too. Some teams are finished already.

My school is D-II and finished November 11th.

I watched parts of Wake Forest vs. Maryland and Clemson vs. SC . . . the theme of the day was "no run defense."

Clemson
vs.
South Carolina

Very Happy with the results. Jad Dean missed a FG that could of tied the game but SC ended up winning it 31 to 28.

Wesleyan lost to both Amherst and Williams this year.

But Northwestern beat Illinois last week to avoid last place in the Big 10.

Just wait till he gets some decent talent under his wing. Then you will really hate him. Of course that is a long road for Carolina, but when you can take Duke to an ACC title nothing seems impossible. Give Steve another two-three years and he will be a force to be reckoned with. Hopefully he will stay that long or longer.

Carolina 45
Duke 44

The theme of the day in that one was "no defense whatsoever" and we preserved the victory by blocking an extra point attempt. But beating Duke in any sport at any time, no matter how bad our team(s) actually is(are) is a victory I'll take.

More importantly, however, UNC women's soccer is going to the Final Four! Again!

after predictable losses to Florida and Tennessee; and some really embarassing losses to Kentucky and Vandy, my Dawgs really impressed me by taking out Auburn one week and then finishing off with a rival victory over Georgia Tech (given the choice of who they had to lose to, I'd prefer it happened this way); Matthew Stafford (freshman QB) also put up some impressive numbers and gave some hope for next year
