Where can one buy equipment needed for a noraebang? like the song machines? does anyone have experience with this? how do you keep your song list up to date if you run a noraebang?

I cannot help you with professional norebang equipment, but I run a cheesy karaoke program off my classroom computer for evening activity or class parties. It is easy to find new kar songs online, but it works best if your classroom has an overhead projector. I just have a few tamborines and a little practice amp with a mic, and I hang up some Christmas lights. I also have a little disco light that I bought in Nampo-Dong, Busan, and there's a street there on the south end that sells all sorts of lights and electric gadgets. If you are near there it might be a place to look for the real thing.
