So right now I have a ticket booked to Thailand. Next I want to go to New Zealand ( I know totally different area). So the absolute cheapest way I found to do it was to fly return from Bangkok to Christchurch.
So the ticket I have from Seoul to thailand is only one way, and I called my travel agent to see if I could get a return flight but he said it would be to expensive and told me just to buy a flight in Thailand.

So when i get to Thaialdn should I just book a one way ticket from Bangkok to Seoul... or should I wait until I get back from NZ to book the ticket and fly stand by?

How does flying standby exactly work? What is the best way to do it?

thanks!

I'm also sorry that I can't answer your question, but I was just wondering, who are you flying with from Bangkok to Christchurch? (Haven't looked extensively yet, but I've only found flights from Bangkok that go to Auckland).

I think it's wither Brisitsh Airways or Quantas..... I'm not too sure. I can get return to Bangkok for about 1000 or one way for about 700. It's pertty pricey though and I haven't booked.... so I'm not sure if I'm going to do it anymore.... but I'll post on here if I find a good flight!
