Are there any on this board?
Or does anyone have any black co-workers?
I know schools and hagwons mostly like to hire whites.
One of my buddies is considering coming to korea.
I just want to see if he'd have much difficulty finding a job.

I've had a number of black coworkers.
Depending upon how long the boss spent in the US and how enamored of black culture he became while there, your buddy may or may not have an easy time of things.
But, as a general rule of thumb, he'll be sleeping on your couch for a good long time. |

Public school tends to welcome all creeds and colours, so long as he doesn't mind waking up early or the possibility of working alone. There are many Hagwons that will accept him but that's mainly the big chains. If you are prepared to let him sleep on the sofa for a couple of weeks I'm sure he can find a good gig. |
