Hi,
I'm looking to do an online TESOL certificate to upgrade my public school level for the job I want next year and was wondering if anyone had any experience with HuntESL's online TESOL certification. It says it's accredited by the College of Teachers and at 150hours it would fit the bill for the level 1 requirement. Anybody had any experience with this?
Thanks

Can't say for sure, but just hand it in and be quiet about it. Some people get away (apparently) with 40 hour online ones. Just bring no attention to it.
What is the College of Teachers though (is it an International association)? |

I remember reading online that the College of Teachers in the UK was basically the body you'd want your TESOL accredited by. It was supposed to accredit your online TESOL and make it equivalent to a course taken in person. So if accredited, you're good to go.
I'm very surprised that no one seems to be responding to this as I have read many threads like this one over the past almost 3 and 1/2 years and it seemed like plenty of people had done a TESOL at some point or another.
As for passing it off as such and such, I don't think it needs to be passed off if it's accredited and 150 hours. It's more than what they're looking for!

I'm not saying it isn't. But why draw attention to something that could be a potential problem? |
