Does anyone know where the fastest (yet still reliable) Korean Embassy is to get a visa processed?

I thought I'd heard of a place that will process a visa in four hours. Which one is that?

You have to use the embassy in the country where you are living. To use the embassy here in Portugal, I had to show proof that I was living and working here before they would issue my visa.

Mine took a day and was quite expensive.

I'm not sure where the fastest embassy is but I think in Japan you get it issued same day (people who do visa runs), not sure.

Unless things have changed recently as far as I'm aware it's always been Osaka.

If that were true for, say, Japan, then visa runs would not be possible.

yes, oigirl, you are absolutely right and i realised that as soon as i posted.

Merrilee, my bf went to Osaka last week for a visa run. He ended up having to stay 3 days as there was a problem with the paperwork. If you are in a hurry, make sure you have all the correct documents.
