I'm taking a bunch of new teachers to Itaewon on Saturday for dinner then clubbing.

What is the popular Itaewon nightspot these days? I haven't gone clubbing in Itaewon in over a year, so back then the busiest dance club was Limelight.. which is now called Cage? How about Helios or Spy Bar these days?

Im not commenting positively or negatively about any place but Helios does get a large crowd of dancers and The Loft does as well. The Loft is 5000won to get in and ladies drink for free.

Have fun.

I've sworn off drinking in Itaewon now that certain friends have gone back to Canada and will stop dragging me there. However, based on fairly recent experience:
The Loft can be a lot of fun (I dig the DJ and free drinks), but might be a little predatory for the very new teachers (especially if they are young women.) I haven't been in Spy Bar for a while, but it might be a little intimidating as well, because it's known for its skinny Russian girls and chiseled Slavic boys, not its welcoming atmosphere.

I've never spent a great deal of time in Helios, but from what I can tell it's a good range of people, usually busy, good-sized dance floor and some nice rooms in the back for just chatting and boozing. Haven't set foot in "Cage" though.
