| Shortly after I moved in my landlandy explained that my gas meter (located inside my apartment) would be checked once a month, on the 11th, and the number would be written on the little chart on the outside of my front door. I assumed that that meant that someone from the gas company, or maybe the landlady herself, would check it. However, the meter is checked irregularly. Sometimes it is two or three months between each time that it is checked (I have no idea who's been checking it, I haven't been home at the time). My bills those months are like 800 won, then suddenly one month I'll get a really high bill for three months or whatever. Can the person from the gas company get into my apartment to check the meter, or should I be doing it myself? |
