It'll be different from school to school. Some will be good, some will be okay, and other will be down right crap.
As Just Because said, you'll have to get much more specific for anyone to give you an answer. |

I knew three people that worked at 3 different GNB schools.
The first person said the owner was cool and he just taught out of the GNB books, which he thought were boring. So he used a lot of English learning games and puzzles and activities. This person sounded fine.
The second person told me that GNB franchise where the person was employed was in a small town way out in the middle of nowhere, about a 45-minute bus ride to civilization. That made life tough sometimes, but that person said the treatment was good. One problem I remember was that person said the school was pretty darn cold in the winter and that person had to teach with a winter jacket and hat on in the cold months. Also, the teacher said the students were really well-mannered. That person told me one window in the classroom had about 6-inch gap where the cold winter breeze would just blow in.
The third person, who in my estimation is a very good teacher, told me that there were a lot of problems with the director over what was to be taught. This director was constantly nit-picking about what the foreign teacher was doing in class, the level of the material, and so on. The foreign teacher finally just had enough of being constantly criticized and threatened to quit. The director then suddenly changed and was overly nice for the remainder of the contract. |
