1. They'll lie to you about pay.

2. There are sexual harrassment issues involving some foreign teachers.

3. They give out horrible split shifts to a lot of people.

4. The language center is run by one of those ajulshis that can't speak English and doesn't care about you at all when you get into any kind of difficult situation. My friend at Kyung Hee had a family emergency and had to go home. He had his pay stopped as soon as they could do it. He didn't get promised vacation pay and when he called his supervisor, she told him that she was leaving for the Philippines and not to bother her. He was out of cash and with a family and a sick baby and they wouldn't bother to help.

5. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. My friend got contacted twice - yes, twice - by two different university personnel asking why he hadn't attended faculty meetings six months after he quit.

6. My friend was teaching a class, then found out a month later that it was a team teaching class with a Korean professor.

Not about working there, but generally speaking they're considering to be one of the top three schools for studying taekwondo. Of course, according to my 관장님 and his 후배 (and other sources, too) they are the best. Very Happy
