I have been trying to make porridge in the same way as home,
in a ceramic cooking bowl with milk and a little sugar.

It was with imported Canadian oatmeal bought at Hannam Supermarket.
It has a strange bitter after-taste when swallowed. Confused

Any explanations for this, or any advice on how to cook to avoid this taste would be very glady appreciated.
