|
|
Your help will be much appreciated!:
I recently bought a new computer (a Samsung desktop) with DVD Write.
Unfortunately, when I try saving a video file to disk, I get a message saying that the attempt to copy has failed. Pressing the "다시 시도" button again and again yields the same result each time.
I know that I've got a video disc in the drive, and that it's properly loaded.
What am I doing wrong?
And yes--I'm an ignoramus with computers, so don't feel the need, anyone, to inform me of the fact. (Or at least give me some credit for having learned Korean!: We can't all but techies; I'm a humanities freak instead.)
Thanks in advance for your help! |

There's a lot of DVD-burning software, but if you've got a DVD re-writer,
you may want to sample some other kind than what you've got.
-Nero (the most common, easy to find)
-DeepBurner (the basic version; DBpro is a pain) |

Are you sure it is a DVD writer and not a combo drive - DVD player /CD writer? These are still VERY common in notebooks and lower priced computers.
IF it is a DVD burner, I have found that cyberlink's "power producer" is about the easiest software for copying or burning DVDs. |

Thanks a million, Greek!
I downloaded DeepBurner just now, and within about 3 minutes had burned my first DVD. Ran a quick check and, sure enough, the freshly burned disc plays like a charm.
Simple as it may seem, that was exactly the advice I needed.
