| Are there any good fitness centres in Gwangju? I know that around World Cup Stadium there are some nice facilities and a nice weight room but monthly memberships are dam expensive. Does anybody know of anywhere else, perhaps downtown? |

| The one in the Hyundai Dept Store is expensive, too. Like 70, 000 won a month. I'm from Canada and that works out to around 80 bucks or more which is a huge rip off considering the weight room is complete shat. I'll look into the one in the Migloire building tomorrow but it looks like I'm going to have to drop some cash on a 5 month membership. It's well worth it anyways. |

Been a couple of years but there is (was) a nice place called Broadway Fitness right near Sangmu ji gu or the Honam Univ campus (not the one out in the sticks) it was pretty nice
For a one day place there was a place near Gwangju Womens univ, used to pay like 2500 won/visit, it has everything sauna, pool etc (you have to pay sep for each though) |

| In Seo gu if that means anything to you. About a 10 minute walk north of World Cup Stadium. 20 minutes by foot, south of the Ssangchon subway station. |
