So, I want to pick up on crocheting again. I've checked out some of the threads about it, but none of them offers detailed enough directions on how to get to the places that sells yarn and hooks. While I'm at it, I also need some tin shears, a single hole punch, a ballpeen hammer (I can't spell, sorry), and siding nails.
Many thanks. |

The crocheting supplies I can't help you with beyond Dongdemun (and there have been a few threads with pretty explicit directions, maybe you just missed them?).
As for the rest, I bought some tin snips last year on line (on a Korean site). I can't remember how I found the site, but if you can get some help you might be able to find the shears, ball peen hammer, and nails without having to go out. The other suggestion would be Yongsan. Up the hill going in the opposite direction from the electronics area is full of tool shops. |

Go to Dongdaemun. Stand near the big gate in the middle of the traffic circle. Look around until you see the building that says (in English) "Tong Dae Mun Market." Go up to the third or fourth floor. |

I totally mispronounced "crochety" in my head when i read the title of your thread. Can't say I'm not more than a little disappointed. |
