Anyone out there know where I can pick up an English Language PDA?
I posted this earlier in the General Forum, and got a reply, but neither I nor my Korean partner in crime could find English Language OS PDAs. |

I have seen some for sale on www.usfkclassifieds.com. You can try that website. |

Thanks for the post. There's a nice PDA on there, but the fellow wants too much for it.
Any other suggestions would be most welcomed. |

Modia PDA and Sony Mavica digicam for sale
I have an NEC Modia HPC and a Sony Mavica CD300 digital camera for sale.
I can take and send pics of the PDA to interested people. It is a fold up type with an actual keyboard. It runs on Windows CE 2000 (not pocketpc) It has the usual PDA stuff like pocket office etc, I installed an ebook reader program on it too. I don't use it enough these days to warrant keeping it.
[camera info snipped]
I'm looking for 100000won for the PDA ono.

Why don't you just buy a Korean PDA and install an English OS after. There are tonnes of sites on the internet that describe doing stuff like that. It's not that hard. Check out the PDA that you really want and see if it's possible. |

I'd love to be able to flash a new OS into any PDA. There are some hot deals on some of the Korean sites.
Sadly, it's beyond my skill as it's not as easy as it sounds. And there are some legal issues about doing such a thing...
Still, thanks for the suggestion. That was actually what I first wanted to do, until I realized the amount of work and how confusing it could all get...especially with PDAs. |

This is the only place, besides what's already been listed where you can find English Language PDAs.
Some of the deals on there are very decent, especially those Palm T5 units going for 170,000W. Awesome deal. Only problem is you need a Korean to help you get them. |
