|
|
I was given cash as a wedding present from the UK, which was opened after our wedding in Korea.
I now have 400 pounds of UK cash, (Scottish sterling banknotes) which I want to exchange for Won.
Is there a money exchange near Seoul (without having to travel to Incheon), which I could use?
Thanks,
Ken |

I have had friends who couldn't find anyplace in Seoul to exchange them. You MAY be able to exchange Scottish notes at a KEB currency exchange counter but MOST places (including money changers) won't touch them (Scottish notes as compared to "UK-British" notes).
You may have to travel to the airport. |

Gave the money to KEB, who checked the Scottish notes on the PC first, and then were going to exchange at the main KEB bank which would take 1 month.
They are going to phone my wife when the money is ready for collection. |
