Hi,

I am currently working at a Public Elementary School and am taking advantage of the vacation and have accepted a winter camp Jan '07. I will have a current E-2 visa at the time of the camp, and wanted to know if it is necessary to get the working at the second workplace place stamp from immigration or not to bother.

Sometimes I find here when you try and do the "right thing", you end up just causing yourself unnecessary work.

I have had 2 pieces of advice from trusted people not to bother, but then have heard of "camp raids" and people being deported, so I am confused.
Do these happen to people working on E-2 visas?

My understanding it is required by law to do it, but like red lights here, no one follows that in certain instances..?

Any previous experiences or advice would be appreciated

thanks.

You need to call immi. You definitly need to alter your visa status. Its easy and cheap to add a place to your E2. Why risk it?
