One week from tonight, K-1 will hold their annual Grand Prix tournament (their equivalent of the World Championships). Who do you think will win?

What happen to the korean, Hong-man Choi, who switched from Ssirum to K1? The tall fellow. I thought he was winning all his matches.

He's been beaten. It's quite easy. Just combo him with leg kicks and that seems to bring up the point total.

I think he (Choi) was the victim of a bad decision when he fought Le Banner in Japan. He easily could have got the nod at the end of regulation time, and then he clearly scored more points in the extra round ...

I love that the hare, hare blue-prancey dude worshipper is also a K1 fan.

That's sweet.

I thought Hoost retired? He was the greatest, but does he still have it? Id go for Le Banner now days. I wish kiwi Ray Sefo was still in it...

He had a match with LeBanner, with the winner going to the Grand Prix. LeBanner won by decision.

In my thread on the topic, posters here predicted LeBanner's victory by a ratio of 5-to-2. What's your hard-on for Choi? Is he vegetarian? Or is it because he once dyed his hair blue? Face it, the only thing he's got going for him is his size.

Me too. He's my favorite, but he lost to Stefan Leko in an elimination match. A shocking disappointment for me.

It's starting now, so it's your last chance to place your "bets".
I should point out that Peter Aerts and Musashi are in a special reserve fight, so if anyone's unable to continue, they could enter the competition (as happened last year, when Aerts won his fight against LeBanner, but had to drop out because LeBanner had broken some of his ribs).

Obviously you do as you went to the trouble and 'utilised' five seconds of your precious time to contribute to this supposedly mundane thread.

This Just In:

Peter Aerts just made short work of Musashi, scoring a KO in the first round. He's still got "it".
