How long should dry-cleaning normally take here? The family that runs the shop I usually go to is super friendly and nice, but it usually takes three or four days to get mine back. I tried another shop and it also took three days.

I never had a job in Canada that required me to make regular trips to the dry-cleaner's so I'm really not sure. Is there some lengthy process involved that I don't know about or are they just really slow here?

Mine takes 2 full days. If I drop it off early Monday morning, it's ready by Wed. evening. You should just tell them when you drop it off that you need it in 2 days. Seems like 3 or 4 days is a bit long unless it's a specialty item (i.e. suede).

If you want your clothes back quickly, you have to tell them. I have got things back on the same day when I needed them urgently.

Hmmm, perhaps I should just take turns going to every dry-cleaner's in town saying 'Bbali juseyo! Nail juseyo!' while clasping my hands together prayer-like.
