|
|
I was wondering if anyone can help me
My Chinese Girlfriend wants to come and visit me here in Korea untill my contract is up and then we are thinking we will head back to Australia to settle down so I can finish Uni -
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I need to do to try and get her a business visa ( in conjunction with my boss )
or is there any other way that she could come and stay with me
Any advice would be greatly appreciated |

Well, she would have to work here for a business visa, right? Maybe your boss can say that she is teaching Chinese at your school - not sure what qualifications she would need for that though. |

Just get your boss to sponsor her. She'd be on your boss' books? Then he/she can sponsor her using their business licence.Immi would be able to fill him in on how to do it.I think E2 is just for native English speakers.Probably a similar but different deal with language instructors of other nationalities.
Otherwise...teaching gig?My public school recently employed an ethnic Korean from Xian.he speaks Korean but he's supervised by a Chinese speaking Korean teacher. He was a public school teacher in Xian though.
Other hagwons......she'll probably get paid a pittance.
Last option, come here on a tourist visa and re-new it as necessary. |

It would be very difficult to get a visa.
First, she would need some kind of ties that would bring her back to China after she is done visiting Korea.
When I brought my now ex-wife to Korea, they tried to ask me for an American marriage certificate (we were married in China) and she had to show that she had 50,000 rmb in her account to pay for her stay in Korea.
And after she did all that (she borrowed money from her family and friends to do that), she was only able to get a 2-week visa, so we had to act fast to get an F-visa for her.
To get a business visa for her, she must have a company in both Korea and China that can sponsor her visit to Korea.
I am not saying it is impossible, but it would be alot of hoops to jump through. |
