A while ago, I met a fellow native public school teacher who told me she has 7 weeks off school in total, as vacation time. I'm fairly sure she was being honest.
This teacher works in Gyeonggi province. I have a standard 14 days vacation time in my contract.
So, how does a teacher in Gyeonggi, successfully find schools with more than 14 days vacation time?!! |

| She is probably counting the two weeks home leave for re-signing, too. |

| Some schools are coooool and let the foreigner off work when school's not in session. EPIK, GEPIK and SMOE don't allow this in the contracts, but the schools are cooooool. |

| Before I came here I was trying to get a job down there and it was offering 8 weeks of vacation. When I was ready to sign they said no because I wasn't in Korea yet. Shop around, I do believe it's possible. |
